What is equity in poker?
Equity is the share of the pot a hand or a range wins on average if the hand goes to showdown. 60% equity means that, across all possible runouts, your hand wins 60% of the time against the opponent's range.
How does the equity calculation work?
You select the two ranges and, if you want, the board, then the tool estimates the equity. The approximate calculation runs a fast Monte-Carlo simulation; full enumeration goes through every combination for an exact result when precision matters.
Can I calculate range-vs-range equity?
Yes. Select a whole range on the 13x13 grid against another range, and the tool returns the overall equity as well as the equity of each combo against the opposing range, to spot the bottom of your range and prune with confidence.
Do I need an account to use the calculator?
